He was born in Manzanillo, Oriente in May 17th, 1901 and died in Guanabacoa, Havana in August 21st, 1959. He studied High School in Santo Tomás de Aquino School, in his hometown. He passed 1st, 2nd, and 3rd years of High School in the Provincial Institute of Oriente, and the last one in the Institute of Havana, where he graduated as Bachelor in Letters and Sciences in 1922. He became Doctor in Civil Laws in the University of Havana (1925). He worked as lawyer, and later was appointed Judge in the municipal courts of Campechuela, Niquero and Manzanillo, in the province of Oriente. In December, 1927 he was appointed Second Deputy Judge of Manzanillo. He was one of the settlers of Las Noticias newspapers (1931), from Manzanillo. In 1934 he was promoted to Municipal First Deputy Judge of the same city. Next year he became Municipal Judge from Baracoa, Oriente, and presided the Junta Municipal Electoral of that Municipality. He collaborated, among other publishings, in Orto, Revista de La Habana, Diario de la Marina and Vanidades. He wrote several works on Laws.
