The historical ship Granma, as well as other means of transport and means used during the fight for national liberation, are exhibited in a suggestive existent memorial in Havana which was inaugurated on November 25, 1976.
The Granma memorial is a place of great historical importance. Even from the street the ship used by the combatants led by Fidel Castro who made the voyage from the Mexican port of Tuxpan to Playa de las Coloradas, in the Cuban east, can be seen in a large glass urn.
The Granma Memorial is part of the Museum of the Revolution which is located in the formerly Presidential Palace.
