Established in 1972. It is conferred to Cuban and foreign citizens and to Chiefs of State or Government for great deeds in favour of peace and mankind: For worthy and outstanding achievements in education, culture, sciences and sports, as well as remarkable merits in creative work.
It is conferred to Cuban and foreign citizens as well as cultural collectives acknowledging outstanding achievements in favour of imperishable values of National and Universal Culture
It is conferred to Cuban or foreign citizens for having developed a continuous activity which constitutes an important contribution to people´s ideological struggle and an outstanding achievement for the development of artistic and literary culture and journalism.

"Haydee Santamaría" Medal
It is conferred to Cuban and foreign citizens acknowledging their outstanding merits and their labour enriching Cuban culture.
Created in 1989 commemorating the thirtieth anniversary of Casa de las Américas. The Council of State of the Republic of Cuba confers it by acknowleging citizens and organisms which have contributed to the enrichment and defense of the genuine Latin American culture and its integration through a sustained cultural labour by a high quality intellectual work.

It is conferred to Cuban and foreign citizens acknowledging their outstanding merits and their labour enriching Cuban culture.
Created in 1989 commemorating the thirtieth anniversary of Casa de las Américas. The Council of State of the Republic of Cuba confers it by acknowleging citizens and organisms which have contributed to the enrichment and defense of the genuine Latin American culture and its integration through a sustained cultural labour by a high quality intellectual work.
Settled by the Cuban Broadcasting Institute (ICR-T) to acknowledge the lifetime work by creators, communicators, artists and technicians, who have worked in this media. The Radio Award began to be conferred in 2002, and those who have offered his best talents to audiences, for many long years, have been awarded.
Established in 1998. It is conferred to most outstanding representatives of Cuban dance on behalf of his continuous work, and for having reached remarkable achievements on dance.
Established in 1999 to remark the most outstanding Cuban theatre ongoing. It is conferred to the most representative personalities of Cuban theatre for their continuous work.

Established in 1994 aimed to acknowledge and classify, according to their relevance, the best Cuban visual artists. Every year it is conferred to a Cuban creator, alive and living in Cuba o behalf of his/her continuous work.
Established in 1995 by the Cuban Institute of Book and the Academy of Sciences of Cuba. It is conferred to reputed Cuban researchers and writers, alive and living in Cuba for contributing, with their continuous work, to the development of different subjects of Social Sciences.
Established in 1983 by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Cuba. It is the most important award yearly conferred acknowledging the continuous work of a Cuban author, alive and living in Cuba.

Established in 1997. It is conferred to Cuban musicians, alive and living in Cuba on behalf of their work on creation and interpretation
Established in 1997 by the Centro Nacional de Escuelas de Arte (National Center of Art Schools. It is conferred, as acknowledgement to dedication and extreme care of professors and personalities of Cuban Culture in the formation of new generations of artists and art professionals.
Established in 1999. It is conferred to personalities of different branches of Cuban culture who have dedicated part of their career to community labour and cultural promotion outstandingly.

Established in 2003. It is conferred to distinguish the work of Cuban directors, actors, actresses, scripwriters, musicians or cinematographers, alive and living in Cuba, who have made worthy achievements to cinematographic development in Cuba.
Established in 1999 by the Centro de Investigación y Desarrollo de la Cultura Cubana "Juan Marinello" (“Juan Marinello” Center of Research and Development of Cuban Culture). It is conferred to Cuban researchers, alive and living in Cuba on behalf of his unquestionably worthy achievements in Cuban Culture

Officially settled in 2000. It is conferred by the whole work of a Cuban artist alive, whose quality has been acknowledged and having a great important contribution for the Cuban Culture.
Established by the Council of Visual Arts in 1999 aimed to acknowledge a living creator, resident in Cuba, by his whole work, and acknowledge his best crtiics comments and essays published in the year.
Sponsored by the Unión Nacional de Escritores y Artistas de Cuba, UNEAC, (National Associaiton of Writeres and Artists of Cuba), the Unión de Periodistas de Cuba, UPEC (Association of Journalists of Cuba) and the Ministry of Culture. It acknowledges works spread by Radio, la TV and written press published in the year.

National Award on Restoration and Preservation of Monuments
National Award on Edition
The National Award on Book Design, summoned by the Cuban Institute of Book, is aimed to outstand the artisitic ongoing and make a public acknowledgement to the work by reputed Cuban designers alive, Cuban residents, and whose acknowledged ongoing within the publishing world deserve respectand distinction by designers, publishers, authors and readers, who through their outstanding talent had contributed to prestige the Cuban publishing universe. Noted designers, visual artists, publishers, writeres, and other personalities from the Cuban Cutural enviroment constitute the jury which reach its verdict from the proposals coming from the publishing houses and cultural institutions of the country.
Yearly award conferred every April 18th, International Day of Monuments, since 2003. Its first summoning was made public in April 18th, 2002. The Jury is appointed by the National Council on Cultural Heritage and joined by acknowledged specialists.
The National Award on Edition, setled in 1998 abd summoned by the Cuban Institute of the Book, is conferred as public acknowledgement to the whole work of outstanding editors, alive and residing in Cuba, whose labor on edition would be acknowledged by the Cuban intellectual environment as well as by the readers, to those who has contributed, through his talent and professional work, to prestige the Cuban ediiton world, developing a signiican labor within their specialty during the year.
National Award "Olga Alonso"
Conferred by the National Council of Houses of Culture, aimed to acknowledge the significant labour developed by instructors, culturals promoters and institutions, regarding artistic and sociocultural work.
